Mobile Catalog Guide to signing in:

  1. From the homepage of the catalog on the middle right of your screen, click the three horizontal lines icon
  2. Click “My Account
  3. Sign in using your Library card number which is located on the back of your Library card. Then enter your last name in all lowercase as the password
  4. Once you are signed in you will be brought to a page that shows you what you have checked out, on hold, overdue, and anything that is ready for pickup

Desktop Catalog Guide to Signing in:

  1. From the homepage of the catalog click the “Sign-in” button located near the top right of the page
  2. Sign in using your Library card number which is located on the back of your Library card. Then enter your last name in all lowercase as the password
  3. Once you are signed in you will be brought to a page that shows you what you have checked out, on hold, overdue, and anything that is ready for pickup

Renewing an item on Mobile and Desktop:

To renew an item you have out, click the three lines icon located near the top right of the page. From there click “My Account”. Then click either “Checked Out” or “Overdue”. If it is available to renew, under each item description you should see a button that says “Renew”. Click that button. Success! Your item is now renewed.

To return to the homepage of the catalog on Mobile and Desktop:

Click either the home icon or our logo. 

To search for a specific title on Mobile and Desktop:

 Click the blank white bar with the magnifying glass icon next to it. Type in the title you are looking for. Click the white button that says “Search” with the magnifying glass icon to the right of it. From there you will be shown multiple tab options. From left to right, “Books”, “eBook”, “Audio Books”, “Music”, and “Movies”. Click the item type you are searching for. 

Below those the following are listed from left to right, “Entire Collection”, “Berthoud Community Library District”, “Available Now”, and “Available Online”. Click whichever you prefer. If the item you are searching for is available, great! Come on into the Library to check it out. If the item you are looking for is checked out or not available at our Library, you can place it on hold. 

Placing a title on hold on Mobile:

Click the title of the item you are looking for. If it is a book, it will give you multiple ways to place a hold: as a “Book”, an “eBook”, “Large Print”, or “Graphic Novel. Warning: If an item is both a book and movie make sure to select the correct format you would like. Each section has a “Place Hold” button. Click the button on the format you would like, and then click the button that says “Submit Hold Request”. If you are putting a movie on hold, you will be shown the option to place a hold on it as a “Blu-Ray” or “DVD”. Make sure to select the correct format and follow the above instructions. To confirm your hold was made, locate and click “My Account” then click “Holds”.

Placing a book title on hold on Desktop:

Once you have located the item you are looking for,  to the bottom right of the item you should see an option to place a hold on it. If it is a book, you will see the option to place a hold on it as a “Book”, “Audiobook”, “Large Print”, “eBook”, or “Graphic Novel”. Make sure to select the correct format you would like to read it in. Warning: If an item is both a book and movie make sure to select the correct format you would like. Once you have chosen the format, press the “Place Hold” button. A square will pop up, click “Submit Hold Request”. Success! Your item is on hold. If you are putting a movie on hold, you will be shown the option to place a hold on it as a “Blu-Ray” or “DVD”. Make sure to select the correct format and follow the above instructions. To confirm your hold was made, locate and click “My Account” then click “Holds”.

To Browse on Mobile:

To browse, leave the search bar blank and click “Search”. From there you can search by item type; “Book”, “eBook”, “Audio Books”, “Movies”, or “Music”. Below that you can select whether you want to view our “Entire Collection”, “Berthoud Community Library”, “Available Now”, or “Available Online”.If you would like to search by a certain genre, AR level, author, etc. Click the “Filters” button that is next to the search button. Play around with selecting different filters, and let us know if you have any questions. 

To Browse on Desktop:

To browse, leave the search bar blank and click “Search”. From there you can search by item type; “Book”, “eBook”, “Audio Books”, “Movies”, or “Music”. Below that you can select whether you want to view our “Entire Collection”, “Berthoud Community Library”, “Available Now”, or “Available Online”. To search by a certain genre, AR level, author, etc. look to the left side of your screen. There should be a dark gray rectangle that says “Narrow Your Results”. Below it are all of the filter options. Click each filter option like “Genre” and select the things you are interested in. Play around with selecting different filters, and let us know if you have any questions/concerns.
