Writing Contest!

Calling All Writers! Yes, that means you! Everyone can create a story! In honor of National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) we are hosting a writing contest!

Thanks to Bethany Bailey for supplying us photos of her artwork to inspire our writing!

Parking Lot Paving

Please be aware that they will be repaving the parking lot Friday, October 2nd until Sunday, October 4th.

Please park on Welch Ave. for all your library needs.

*Curbside will still deliver to Welch Ave.

*The book drop will need to be walked to from Welch Ave.

*The parking for in-building visits will also be on Welch Ave.

Book Clubs Return!

Book clubs have returned for 2020-2021. Check out the tab at the top of the page to see the list of books we will be reading.

We have two book clubs this year, one that focuses on Compelling Issues that we are facing in our society, nay, the world.

The other is our regular book club.

Books will be updated after the beginning of the year so keep an eye out for updates!

Current Hours

Curbside at the Berthoud Library
Can’t come into the building? No problem! Email your requests to curbside.bcld@gmail.com and you’ll receive a response when your items are ready for pickup. When your items are ready, they can be picked up on the East side of the building (by the outside Book Drop) during the following hours:
Monday through Saturday
10a – 5p

Computers and Browsing at the Berthoud Library
The library is open during the following hours. Computer limitations apply and are available by sign ups.

Monday: 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Tuesday: 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Wednesday: 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 (For Seniors and At-Risk Only)
12p.m – 6p.m. (For Everybody Else)
Thursday: 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Friday: 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Saturday: 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Closed for cleaning from 12 p.m. – 1 p.m.)

Masks are required.
Sanitation will happen throughout the day.
Please adhere to social distancing guidelines.

Kit & Kaboodle: Classes @ Home!

Do you miss attending our fun and interesting classes at the library? Are you sick of staring at a computer screen? We hear you. Beginning on August 24th, we’ll be offering kits full of information and tools for you to learn something new, all in a handy take-home format for you. Kits will be limited in quantity, so watch our Facebook page to see when we’ll drop a new topic for you—kits will be first-come, first-served, so don’t hesitate when you see one that interests you.
